How is this company different to your expectations before joining?

The company I worked for before Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) only had a total head count of 12, so naturally the prospect of joining a large establishment like CCEP was quite overwhelming.

On my first day my boss took me for lunch and colleagues made me feel right at home straight away. My expectation was that I would only mix with my immediate team and not get much exposure to the other areas of the business.

The reality was very different, at CCEP everyone is very open and welcoming, it feels more like a community. From joining the on-site gym, or taking the visiting to the canteen or Costa shop I felt so comfortable and after 4 years of working at CCEP I still look forward to going into any of the CCEP sites.
