I started my career in soft drinks at Britvic and 23 years ago joined CCEP and never looked back!
Over the years I have worked in a range of Commercial roles across different functions and have also enjoyed working across our system at The Coca-Cola company!
I always felt destined to join CCEP—even while selling Pepsi at Britvic, I was a loyal Diet Coke fan!
I began in Field Sales, leading teams across Grocery and AFH, before moving into Regional Account Management, supporting Licensed Operators and managing contact strategy for key National Wholesalers. I then transitioned into National Accounts, overseeing major accounts such as Whitbread and M&B.
My final National Accounts role was with Nando’s, where I led a successful re-negotiation and developed long-term joint strategies that transformed our customer relationship. I also managed a team focused on new-to-UK brands like Wingstop and Jollibee. This role sparked opportunities to collaborate more globally—something I found truly rewarding.
That global exposure expanded further during a secondment to The Coca-Cola Company as Senior AFH Channel Manager, where I developed strategies across the AFH channel at a total business level—an incredible experience.
Today, I’m a Senior Manager in Group Commercial Development, delivering commercial projects across CCEP markets. It’s been an exciting journey—and after 23 years, I’m still learning and growing.
I work on Commercial projects across all CCEP countries!
In my current role, I lead a variety of projects focused on commercial strategy, insight generation, and performance reporting across our entire business. This includes analysing whether our brands are achieving fair share of space on supermarket shelves, quantifying the financial opportunity of addressing any distribution gaps, and assessing the broader implications for the soft drinks category.
I also manage key supplier relationships related to our Customer Satisfaction surveys, ensuring we capture actionable feedback that drives continuous improvement. Additionally, I play a central role in shaping and refining our reporting suites, ensuring they provide relevant, accurate insights to support strategic decision-making.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders across CCEP, The Coca-Cola Company, and our wider system—working together to deliver commercial impact through data-led strategy and cross-functional alignment.
Delivering a future back view on commercial opportunities/risks is critical to the growth of our business!
As part of the Group Commercial Development team, we're all about digging into a variety of metrics that matter—uncovering the "so what?" behind the numbers to understand how they impact our categories, customers, and consumers across both our European and APS markets.
Our insights play a key role in helping the Leadership Team shape future strategies and identify immediate opportunities or risks—making the work both impactful and genuinely exciting to be a part of!
Leading projects with a wide range of stakeholders—from colleagues across different markets and departments to teams at The Coca-Cola Company and Monster Energy—gives us the chance to bring together diverse perspectives and expertise, making collaboration both dynamic and rewarding.
Remember that you need to be right for the role, but the role needs to work for you too!
Dont be afraid to ask questions, its such a big (but exciting) move when looking to join a new company. We all use different terminology, and interpretations. Take the opportunity to ask as many questions to clarify your understanding of the role, what you need to deliver, but what will it also deliver for you!
An employee that enjoys and feels satisfied that they are growing in the role, will be a happily and more productive individual. There is always someone available to answer questions, don't be afraid to ask!
Leading the European AFH environment strategy for The Coca-Cola company
Whilst on secondment with The Coca-Cola company I was responsible for leading the commercial strategies and annual plans for Away from Home customers. Massive piece of work, but honoured to be asked to lead it and loved the challenge!
Second one would be retaining the Nando's business in GB, whilst driving additional profit and delivering a 5 year joint category plan with them. Whilst also supporting my team with key global impacted negotiations.
