In short, yes, there is a level of flexibility in my role! Of course, this depends on what deliverables are required and the methods in which these are achieved. Please see below a few examples that I hope provide some colour on what is possible!

Example 1 - meeting routines: certain meeting routines are necessary with colleagues at particular times which cannot take place at other hours. This doesn't mean, however, that you cannot take such meetings whilst 'on the go' if this is required - in the garden / whilst walking / sat in the car etc. Importantly though if you are unable to make certain meetings due to critical commitments, such as dropping children off at school, then this is perfectly normal! In fact, I'm now used to taking video meetings and seeing a baby (or a dog!) looking back at me on the screen!

Example 2 - working hours: depending on your deliverables, it is feasible to start or finish work earlier/later to suit your needs. For me personally, this requires good communication to manage expectations with other stakeholders on your availability, so you can achieve this without creating problems!

Example 3 - productivity levels: this depends on the role of course, but linked to the example above, for me personally I find at times I may need to complete a task that has a less tight deadline but nonetheless needs to be done. However, I occasionally may have a "brain fog" moment and choose to get some fresh air and come back to the task at hand, to freshen my perspectives. After all, there is no point being sat at a screen just staring at the computer!
