Hi Michael,
Thanks for reaching out :)
My first year was great! It really was a very exciting year, joining a new business can be daunting but my team, line manager, as well as the wider team, were great at making you feel welcome!
There was a lot to learn, new processes, ways of working and so many acronyms. I wondered at times how I'm going to fit this all into my head. It helped that we have a buddy system - this is when we pair new starters with an experienced salesperson so there is scope to ask all those not-so-silly questions.
I also went on a 2 day selling course. Reflecting back on this it gave me the foundations to sell with confidence.
So in summary the first year was a year of many firsts, gaining new knowledge and meeting lots of new people. Its was great!
