I am very impressed by the actions of CCEP regarding climate change. How do CCEP encourage the employees to take part?

Hi John, loving the question! Hope you have been able to take a good look at our This Is Forward agenda and action on climate priorities. Our commitment to Climate & Sustainability is part of our strategic priorities, so in fact, it is reflected in every employees' focus areas. Our Senior leaders are given clear objectives to reduce carbon emissions. It's something we all take seriously and we can all play a part in. As employees, we all get 2 days' volunteering time each year, and we have partnerships with a number of organisations focused on the environment such as The Rivers Trust and our latest partnership Keep Scotland Beautiful, so you may well see one of teams litter picking around a canal or river near you! From a Supply Chain point of view, how does 'Make a difference' translates into actions that support the sustainability agenda? And to what extent do Supply Chain employees contribute to transforming the business to support that pledge?

Hi Andre S, great question! To make our drinks we have to ensure that our ingredients and raw materials are sourced sustainably. We also have great initiatives around using sustainable energy. We're aiming to reduce the water we use in manufacturing by 20% by 2025 and to work with local community partnerships to replenish 100% of the water we use in areas of water stress. We have dedicated and passionate Sustainability Ambassadors in our manufacturing sites and across a network spanning all functions, so lots to get involved with if you joined CCEP.
