How flexible is the apprentice programme in terms of working hours and days

For me as an Engineering Apprentice, I attend my external training provider one day a week (like a uni or college) in person and then for the other 4 days i am at site/work doing my everyday job.

The program is very flexible. Your boss and college understands that you have to attend a training provider regularly. Sometimes it is hard to keep on top of things but you have to be displined and manage your time well.
